"New Fit" Surgical Weight-Loss Program
Presented by Bariatric Surgical Specialists Diego Velarde, MD, and Nathan Allison, MD both with Health First Physicians in the Viera Medical Plaza.

This monthly lecture series will provide attendees with information about the latest Bariatric Surgery methods now available, including robotics-assisted surgery as well as other methods.

They've done it again!
Two Health First Physicians ranked among top in the nation For Alphonse Pecoraro, MD, a General Surgeon with Health First Physicians, it is now four in a row. For his colleague, Paul Thompson, MD, also a General Surgeon with Health First Physicians, it is a "fivepeat!" Both Drs. Alphonse Pecoraro and Paul Thompson have been honored among "America's Top Surgeons" for 2011 by the Consumers' Research Council of America.

Dr. Pecoraro, our Board-certified General Surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons who has practiced for more than 12 years, is the current CCH Chief of the Medical Staff and served as a member of the staff at CCH since 2002. Dr. Thompson, also Boardcertified in General Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, has practiced for 24 years and has served as a member of the Medical Staff of Cape Canaveral Hospital for the past 22 years.

Their General Surgery practice is located in CCH's Medical Plaza.

The Consumers' Research Council of America is an independent research company based in Washington, D.C., that evaluates professional services throughout America. They select the nation's "Top Surgeons" by using a point-value system. Criteria include experience, training, education, professional associations, and Board certification.
